A fuel system is responsible for supplying fuel to the engine as and when required. It is made up of the fuel tank, filter, injectors or carburetor and pump. To achieve optimum performance and reliability of the vehicle, each component must work flawlessly.

A fuel system stores and supplies fuel to the cylinder cavity which produces energy by mixing the fuel with air, vaporized, and burned eventually. A fuel system can get failed because of:

  • Clogged Fuel Filter
  • Dirty of Malfunctioning Fuel Injectors
  • Failed Fuel Pump

Fuel pumps usually lasts for about 250,000 kilometers. But, your car won't even start if your fuel pump is bad.
