It is the part where the refrigerant sheds heat and cools down. It enters this radiator in the gaseous state and converts to a liquid form after cooling down. In the process, some leakage of liquid is normal; more than normal leakage signifies malfunctioning. Other indicators of malfunctioning AC Condenser are abnormal noises and reduced cooling capacity.

The usual life-span of an AC Condenser is 10-15 years, depending on the use, brand, and other factors. After this, it is advisable to replace it instead of choosing to get it repaired. You don’t need to worry much about the costs because it is possible to replace just the condenser and not the entire AC system in your car.
